Almost finished with Lisa & Steve’s destination wedding photos. Just came across this one that I like from the trash-the-dress session the day after their wedding. It shows how happy they are and isn’t super posed and stiff looking. I’m all about the candids! This really was a fun shoot as you can tell by Lisa’s expression. She had a separate dress for the TTD session and we had a blast trashing it in the Caribbean Sea and the pool at the resort. Steve’s rocking his rented tuxedo in the pool! Ahh, good times. More to come.

Lauren & Mike

Ann Taylor and I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren & Mike’s wedding at the First Colony Inn with reception at Jennette’s Pier on April 21st. I had a number of college classes with Lauren back at Longwood University and had no idea I would be lucky enough to photograph her and Mike’s wedding . Funny how life works sometimes. She’s now well on her way to becoming a podiatrist. At least one of us is using our Biology degree..hah! Anyways, Lauren and Mike looked so happy together on their big day. The weather was perfect. Both venues were amazing. Friends and family had a blast. It really couldn’t have been any better. Here’s just a few of the images. I uploaded a bunch as a featured wedding gallery on my wedding website. Click here to view em! P.S. One of my favorite photos to shoot at weddings is when the bride and groom are walking back down the isle together and have the biggest smiles on their faces. Lauren and Mike were no exception. Stoked to have a full page photo published in a recent Patagonia catalogue. Patagonia’s photo standards are extremely high so it’s a huge honor. The image they used is a water shot of Kim Diggs taken at Lillian Street at sunset a few years ago.

St Thomas Destination Wedding
