Here’s one of my favorite images from hurricane nadine swell. It’s Wolfgang Blackwood waiting for the right moment to jump from the 1st jetty. I was shooting speed blur action since the sun had set, which made this image more dramatic. This was taken at 1/15th of a second. The whitewater explosion coming off the jetty looks like it’s going to clean him right up but it didn’t. Moments later he was surfing his last wave of the day.
