Recent Publications
Here are a few recent publications. Surfer Magazine has an 8 page feature on our trip from NY to NC chasing hurricane katia. NY native Alex Wilson talks about chasing hurricanes on the east coast and ultimately second guessing everything and in our case, our own character. Def worth checking out. The other magazine, Local Sessions, features one of my photos on the cover…a water shot of Fisher Heverly in a perfect green barrel in Rodanthe. Shot with Fish for a week straight so it’s nice to get him some coverage. This is our 2nd mag cover now. All of these photos were taken on Hatteras Island 9 days after hurricane Irene wrecked havoc on the Outer Banks. Words can’t describe what I saw and how I felt being down there for the first time since the storm scoring epic waves while everyone around us was devastated. It was an experience full of all time highs and lows I’ll never forget.
