In light of our weekend weather and surf forecast courtesy of a scary looking Hurricane Irene, I wanted to post a couple interesting aerial photos I took last week. There was absolutely no swell on this morning and it was around low tide. Can’t imagine how it will look during a major hurricane. The first 4 are Rodanthe and the last one is South Nags Head where they’ve done the beach renourishment.
