Cassidy
I really enjoy being around babies and kids. Their expressions, curiosity, and how they just live in their own little world always fascinates me. I can sit and watch’em for hours. I don’t have a child of my own yet, but I do have a beautiful lil niece and I love her to death. She’s almost 1 now and I finally made an effort to bring my camera over to my brothers house and take some photos rather than just sit and play with her. Unfortunately she’d just woken up from a nap and was pretty grumpy, which is unlike her. One of the few things that almost always cheers her up is Disney movies, so she was really focused on the TV while I was there. Def gonna try again soon. My sister in law’s good friend Nikki was over and her baby Cassidy didn’t mind me taking a couple photos of her purdy face. She’s a cutie and loves to be held upside down.
Surfing Magazine Spread, May Issue
Jesse Hines and I scored a 2 page spread in the newest issue of Surfing Magazine. He got this beautiful barrel back in November down south on a goofy footers dream day. Overhead draining lefts with sunny skies and only a handful of friends out surfing. I had been swimming for a couple hours in the morning and decided to shoot from the beach for a bit. Couple minutes after I climbed up on the dune Jesse pulled in. They ran 2 photos from the sequence…Jesse locked in and then getting blown out. Its quite an honor to have a photo in Surfing so I’m really stoked. Be sure to snag a copy of the mag to see it, or even better, buy a subscription….it looks and feels so much better in print!
Spring Forward
Weather was very Spring-like today. A beautiful sunrise with double rainbows then some sunshine then thunderstorms followed by fog.
