A little offshore wind would’ve turned Buxton into a barrelfest today. Despite the onshore breeze, it was pretty rippable and a few barrels snuck through. Here’s one from the evening. Click to enlarge.

Stumbled upon perfect 2” microwaves in the sound this morning while walking my dog. Couple of the setups looked like mini-macaronis. I was captivated and grabbed a few photos. Stay tuned for more photos from the (real) swell and the upcoming swell this weekend.
Seems like it’s been a longggg time since we had a real, classic Outer Banks swell. Mid-week could be fun, but I’m not holding my breath. Here’s one I dug up from the good ol’ days..
